1. Cancellation & Refund Policy

To protect our highly constrained 8-seat inventory, our cancellation policy is strictly enforced as follows:

• 100% Full Refund: Cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled tour departure time for a full 100% refund. No administrative fees, booking fees, or cancellation penalties will be deducted.
• Cancellations Within 24 Hours & No-Shows: Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure, or failure to arrive at the designated pickup time, are non-refundable.
• Cancellations by Operator: If Alshemal Norway must cancel a tour due to extreme weather, safety hazards, or road closures, guests will receive a full 100% refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
  

2. Force Majeure & Weather Authority

Under the Norwegian Package Travel Act (Pakkereiseloven), Alshemal Norway retains the sole authority to cancel a tour prior to departure based on extreme weather warnings from the Norwegian Meteorological Institute or road closures by Statens vegvesen. In the event of an operator-initiated cancellation for safety, you will receive a full refund.

3. Traveler Liability & Gear

We provide Regatta -40°C floating thermal suits. Thermal boots are NOT provided. Primary responsibility for wearing warm, highly insulated winter boots, woolen base layers, winter gloves, a warm hat, and carrying comprehensive travel/medical insurance rests exclusively with the traveler.

4. Brand Integrity, Review Policy & Anti-Extortion

In strict alignment with TripAdvisor, Viator, and GetYourGuide Review Integrity Policies, any attempt to use negative reviews or brand-damaging threats to extort financial refunds outside our agreed 24-hour cancellation terms will be formally reported with full digital audit trails to platform trust & safety divisions. Legitimate service concerns are handled directly and empathetically according to published terms and Norwegian consumer protection standards (Pakkereiseloven). Severe cases involving criminal threats or systemic fraud are formally documented and referred to local authorities under the Norwegian Penal Code (Straffeloven).

5. Chargeback & Evidence Protocols

Unwarranted credit card disputes ("Friendly Fraud") are defended through Stripe Compelling Evidence protocols. Every expedition maintains verifiable GPS route logs, EUMETSAT weather spotter reports, and digital contract consent timestamps proving full service execution under Norwegian law (Pakkereiseloven).

6. Commercial Insurance & Governing Law

Alshemal Norway operates fully licensed commercial passenger transport in compliance with the Professional Transport Act (Yrkestransportloven). Insured with If Skadeforsikring under Commercial Policy No. SP7991172.1.2. In accordance with the Norwegian Automobile Liability Act (Bilansvarslova § 4), passenger personal injury coverage is objective and unlimited. These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of Norway under the jurisdiction of the Nord-Troms og Senja District Court (Nord-Troms og Senja tingrett).

7. Campfire & Outdoor Element Disclaimer:

Open campfires are conducted strictly at the guide’s discretion. Alshemal Norway reserves the right to adjust or omit outdoor open fires due to high wind speeds, extreme weather, elevated fire hazards, or proximity to sensitive local wildlife. Omission of an open fire for safety or environmental compliance does not constitute a service failure or grounds for a financial refund.

8. Cruise Ship All-Aboard Guarantee & Port Logistics

Every cruise-focused expedition maintains a strict 45-minute safety buffer prior to your vessel's scheduled sail-away time. On late-night chases returning after public Bus 42 ceases operation at 00:30, Alshemal Norway provides direct van drop-offs right to the Breivika or Prostneset port security gates.

9. Media Delivery SLA & GDPR Privacy Standard

High-resolution RAW and edited JPEG photos are delivered via a private cloud link within 24 hours of tour completion. In compliance with GDPR Article 5 and Section 104 of the Norwegian Copyright Act (Åndsverkloven § 104), all private cloud download links and guest photo files are automatically and permanently deleted 7 calendar days after delivery.
